Lights and music in sync makes for an even better experience. The entry level light packages to do something like a dance party for 5-20 kids has dropped extremely low. You can get started for $20 and for less than $100 have an amazing amount of lights.
Don't Think Different
This is a lesson I learned the hard way. I bought each light individually. I looked over the different images and picked to have different effects. it was amazing all the way until I tried to use them at the same time. The remotes look very similar, but the signals are totally different and the result is lights change mode unexpectedly. Based on that, I strongly recommend buying two of the same lights at the same time and making sure the remote is identical between them.
This is an DJ Disco Stage Party Light. There are a lot of options in the category of DJ Laser Lights with many in the range of $20-$40. You can look through a number of those lights and pick whatever ones have the pictures that look good to you. Different lights have different effects.
I have 4 different varieties that I picked up over time and they are all good. I've used them on a conference call at one point and had people ask where I found my virtual background video because the lights looked that good.
What you're looking at in the pictures is the key thing though. Do you want dots, designs, waves, or whatever.
A Word of Caution
Something I don't like in the videos on Amazon is often, they will use more than 1 light. Sometimes, they do put text in saying "Use multiple lights for greater effect" and fine. But when the only way you can tell is to pause it and look at the distinct light sources, it's a bit disappointing. If you are watching videos, make sure you know how many lights are being used.
You will definitely see fog used in any video and photos. It's just the best way to make any laser light pop. If you don't have one yet, just know that you're lights won't have quiet the impact as what you are seeing in the photos and video. I didn't have fog for a long time and my lights were still amazing. We did occasionally get some natural fog that made for special nights.
